For Oregon CHL, CO-ED - $225
Limited to 12 students!

From classroom to range, this all-day concealed carry course teaches all the basic and intermediate knowledge, skills, and attitude for carrying a concealed handgun, from parts, nomenclature, ammunition, basic teardown of your firearm, firearm function and operation, basic targeting and handling, to malfunction identification.  Students learn the rules for safe gun handling, shooting fundamentals, and range rules.  This class focuses on the need for quality live-fire instruction from Oregon's most qualified firearms instructor.   Oregon Use-of-Force laws, castle doctrine, stand your ground, duty to retreat, SB 554 issues, concealed carry laws, public buildings, airports, hospitals, and other important carry factors.  Plus, how to properly interact with police officers during a traffic stop, and so much more.    This class is meant for those that want the entire spectrum of training out of a single CHL class.  This class is perfect for brand new beginners to advanced shooters.  Handgun rentals are available.  8-Hour Class (Classroom Time Plus Live Fire Range)

Oregon Revised Statutes require the very minimum training of classroom-only time in order to obtain a concealed handgun license. It's one thing to obtain a license to carry concealed. It's a whole different situation to prepare yourself physically and mentally for the unthinkable. The difference between the two is a lot like wanting to become a race car driver and then obtaining your ODL thinking you can jump right out on the track and win big.

This course satisfies ORS 166.291 for Oregon Concealed Handgun License.  Further, it provides candidates with the much-needed hands-on, live-fire training by Oregon's top instructor.  There is no substitute for hands-on training and this course offers you the best training in both areas.  Candidates that pass this course will receive the gold leaf Handgun Safety Course Completion certificate.  This is the certificate that is needed when you apply for your Oregon CHL at the sheriff's office.

SPECIAL NOTE: During winter months and throughout the year, this course may be indoors at our Central Point indoor range at 411 N Front St, Central Point 97502.  When indoors, this class will be a Simunition-based training course.  Stoneridge Tactical will supply all firearms, holsters, and ammunition for this class.  Students will utilize dedicated Simunition forearms that utilize Simunition brand non-lethal ammunition.  If you are unfamiliar with Simunition, please click HERE for a complete description of the firearms and ammunition.  We offer this course indoors for a number of reasons.  The weather is unpredictable and cold in the winter.  We want to offer the most comfortable environment possible to provide you the most enjoyment possible during your class.  This range in our training facility is conveniently located and when other ranges are in use due to logistical issues, the indoor range is a viable option with great training value.  Some ranges we use require payment of park entry fees for non-member shooters.  You are responsible for park entry fees.  We recommend purchasing memberships at the range if you plan on being an avid shooter.
