ADVANCED CARBINE RIFLE 201

ADVANCED CARBINE RIFLE 201
(Full-Day Intermediate/Advanced-Level Live Fire Training)
COST: $250 ($100.00 deposit required)

This is an advanced course for shooters who have completed Carbine Rifle 101 course and have qualified experience with both a handgun and carbine rifle, who wish to become more familiar, and fluid, with running their carbine rifle platforms.

This course centers on the rifle for civilians and police officers using iron sights or optics (which must be removed for zeroing exercises). The course teaches students how to utilize basic fundamentals of rifle marksmanship and handling, how to zero iron-sighted rifles, and discusses zeroing policy and liability concerns.

Range work quickly moves from basic marksmanship to intermediate to advanced tactical movement, use of cover, various firing positions, pivots and turns, use of muzzle down and pivoting with proper positioning, advanced malfunction clearance techniques, emergency reloading under stress, cover and concealment, firing while moving as opposed to moving then firing, transitioning to multiple targets and from strong to support side, along with heavy emphasis on combat follow-through.  You'll learn techniques to engage multiple threats, unconventional and difficult shooting positions, active decision-making, and reduced light threat identification and firing. Students will run through several tactical courses of fire from a professionally-developed lesson plan.  Students will also participate in several skill-building drills that will have them contacting, aiming, shooting, moving, and running their carbine rifle platform better and faster than before.
