BEGINNING RIFLE 101

BEGINNING RIFLE 101
(5 Hours of Introductory-Level Live Fire Training)

This is a beginning course for shooters with little to no training or knowledge of training with a hunting rifle or long gun.  This is not a course for defensive AR-15.  Perfect place to start for those who wish to become more familiar with and more competently run various rifle platforms.

This school centers on the fundamentals of rifle for hunters and sport shooters.  We teach the most basic fundamentals of rifle parts, nomenclature, styles, accessories, manipulation, and nuances of rifle marksmanship and handling for hunting and sporting purposes.

Range work moves from basic silhouette marksmanship accountability, starting with proper hold, mounting, operation, and stances.  Students utilize various basic firing positions.

Students will learn confidence with their rifle as they move from this Intro course to the next level of training.  Participation in skill-building drills will have them shooting their rifle with confidence.
