NEXT STEPS TACTICAL HANDGUN
NEXT STEPS TACTICAL HANDGUN 301 - (CO-ED, 8 hours) $150

Co-ed course. Open to men and women 16 and older. No concealed handgun license required for this course. This tactical handgun course will take the shooter's skill to a new "next level". This is a all-day, all-range-time live-fire course that is fast-paced and active. Candidates will learn timed draw techniques, speed-building, pushing the boundaries of ability. When you leave this course, you will be shooting at your best. This course is developed for concealed carry license holders that want only to increase their expertise in handling a handgun with assertiveness and proficiency with winning a defensive critical incident. If you are seeking or already have a CHL and want professional, hands-on, next-level defensive training with handguns, this is the range-time course for you. Having your CHL does not make you proficient. Make the move to take the responsibility and accountability to get training. This course starts you at understanding the types of firearms available and the features and benefits of each. You'll be refining your understanding of the types of holsters and how they'll benefit you if you are forced into a defensive action by no fault of your own. When it comes to protecting yourself or a loved one, learn the tactics to win. This course is derived straight from law enforcement tactical handgun training courses. You must have a solid knowledge of handguns, shooting platform, manipulation in various conditions, loading, and unloading in various conditions, and malfunction clearance techniques taught in our Defense Carry Fundamentals course. Handgun rentals are not available for this course. It is presumed that you will be using your own firearm with your own holster or carry method.

Certificates of course completion will be awarded. Completion certificates satisfy ORS 166.291 for Oregon Concealed Carry.

At Stoneridge Tactical, we provide you with case study to describe the issues, then move into the concepts behind it all. As a last step, we describe to you the tactic or the technique you will be using as a means to win in a Critical Incident and to neutralize a Lethal Threat, should you ever be confronted by one.
